Love, love love this!  The quiet colored bird and the deeply colored berries.
So very pretty.

I have seen a Swainson's Thrush just a couple of times and never had the opportunity to photograph one.  The bird is a member of the thrush family, like the American Robin, and is slightly smaller than the robin.

A friend of mine had a Swainson's Thrush strike her window, and she took a couple of photos. She assisted the bird and it eventually recovered and flew away.

We can admire some hummingbirds.
I had a couple of female Anna's hanging out.

They are a bit less war-like than the males.

Bird on the left.

Bird on the right.

One of my mature male Anna's.

And a female Anna's - front.

And back.

What a super looking bird stitch! What color did you use for the berries? I like the November header, Beth. Our hummers have left for another season so I enjoy seeing yours in your posts.

Love your finish -- it's wonderful! Love the pictures of the Swainson's Thrush with your friend -- how cool that she saved it! Great hummer pics too.

Your Swainson's Thrush turned out very pretty. I love the soft colors. I feel terrible when a bird hits the window. We have been very lucky, most have gotten it together and flown away. I can only hope they were ok.

Yay! Great finish! Another beautiful design! Pretty great shots of the thrush on your friend's arm! Wow! Took my youngest granddaughter out birding yesterday. She did very well, for being 6! Towards the end, she comes running up, puts her hand in mine and asks, "Can we do this again Grandma?" Love that! Hugs!
