Blessings

Design - "Blessings"
Designer - Heart in Hand
Fabric - 32 count Tumbleweed linen
Fibers - WDW & GAST - 2 strands over 2 fibers
Started - 6 November 2011
Completed - 13 November 2011

I like the quiet, muted fiber pallet used for this design.  I think that the adage is all the stronger with the low-key presentation.  I will not go into detail, but will mention that five years on, I have much to be thankful for!

Sunday morning there were two Bucks about.  This is Buck #2 - the smaller of the two guys.

He was large enough, and aggressive enough, to pester this doe and fawn.

And he thought himself a rather handsome fellow.
But wait!

Here's Buck #1 - The Big Man on Campus!
He is physically larger and had larger antlers than the other Buck.  I don't think I'd ever noticed the brown / white pattern on the throat before either.  Maybe it is something only mature Bucks have.

Sunday there were no Quail about.  But this fellow hung about for hours...waiting.

and the wildlife!!! LOVE IT!!! we got home the other night, to find a deer sleeping in my flower patch...how sweet...
Of course, when they destroy, they aren't so sweet, but I still love nature.
