I'm pretty pleased with this stitch - dark fabric can be a bit of a challenge - it required good, strong light to stitch accurately.
The sentiment makes me yearn for some holiday snow...but as the temperatures are around 50F, that is not in the forecast anytime soon.
Just rain, rain, and yet more rain - we had 1.2" Friday/Saturday...and another storm moved in Sunday night, so I'm sure the rain gauge has captured more moisture.
In an effort to channel a Currier and Ives Christmas, here are a couple of photos from January 2009.
I love the light that comes with a snowfall!
The familiar world looks so very different coated in white.
