Knit Happens - Part 2

Last Saturday my sister and I parked the car on 8th Street to go to the Farmers' Market.

When we got out to feed the meter, what did we see?

Knit Happens!  (Part 2)

Art installations like this just make you smile!
The amazing thing is that this was done back on August 29th and is still intact for the public to enjoy.

I thought for this Outdoor Wednesday celebration I'd take a walk outside.

I like this trifecta of color - the Paperbark Maple in front, the yellow Big Leaf Maple in the middle, and the Wild Cherry lurking in the woods.

A close-up of the three aforementioned trees...

A Sweetgum and...

tiny, tiny mushrooms - each smaller than a dime.

The Anna's Hummingbirds are year-around residents.
There is one sitting on the fence just to the left of the mullein.

Lucky you to have hummingbirds all year long. We usually get them the latter part of July, and they leave by the first part of October. They are so fun to watch and some are so beautiful.

Those knit happens are truley impressive to think they can hold up against the elements and people for that long - too cool!
